The Powerball jackpot for Saturday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $171 million with a cash option of $79.1 million.
The winning numbers were: 12, 13, 34, 44, 67. The Powerball drawn was 8, with a Power Play of 3X.
No one across the country hit Wednesday’s $155 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold. In New Jersey, no one won more than $300 with a single ticket.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 16, 30, 60, 62, and 64. The Powerball drawn was 25 with a Power Play of 3X.
In addition, no one nationally on Wednesday won the secondary $10 million Double Play jackpot. Those winning numbers were: 3, 10. 37, 40 and 68. The Double Play number drawn was 1.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $489 million with a cash option of $225.3 million.
